Our breath holds immense wisdom. With each inhale, we allow life force energy to flow into our bodies. With each exhale, we release what no longer serves us, detoxifying our bodies from toxins. While this process happens partly involuntarily, bringing awareness to our breath enables us to connect with ourselves, fostering healing on both emotional and physical levels. In this session, we will explore various breathwork modalities, using the breath as a powerful tool to access different parts of our consciousness and release what holds us back. This journey can be intense and transformative, offering a safe space to feel and express all emotions without judgment. It helps us tap into the innate freedom and love we possess, both towards ourselves and the world around us.

The session can be conducted in English if needed; otherwise, it will be held in Swedish.

Who Should Not Attend?

  • Pregnant women
  • Major heart disease or cardiovascular issues
  • Mental health issues or personality disorders
  • Recent surgery that limits movement

Breathwork is not suitable for those with a personal or family history of epilepsy, seizures, high blood pressure, aneurysms, glaucoma, retinal detachment, osteoporosis, recent injuries, severe illness, or addiction. We also advise against participation if you have a history of mental illness, psychiatric hospitalization, emotional crises, suicidality, or psychosis.

Practicalities & What to Bring

To ensure you get the most out of your breathwork session, avoid heavy food and try not to eat at least 1.5 hours before the session. However, it’s important to have a proper breakfast or an early lunch to ensure you have enough energy throughout the practice.
  • Wear comfortable clothes
  • Bring a water bottle
  • Optional: Bring a blindfold if you prefer
  • Optional: A journal for post-session reflections
  • Please arrive 10 minutes before the session
  • The session is 2 hours long
  • We will be breathing while sitting and lying down
  • We also incorporate music to enhance the overall experience. If you are sensitive to loud music, please inform the facilitator and bring earplugs.
  • Bring a great spirit and curiosity to connect with yourself!

About the facilitator

Bashar Waleed

Bashar is a dedicated facilitator in breathwork, kundalini yoga and men’s work, with a core philosophy rooted in the wisdom of the heart and trusting the body. He integrates a variety of techniques into his practice, including psychology, where he completed two years of psychosynthesis study, Himalayan kriya techniques, conscious connected breathwork, somatic bodywork, and emotional release.

Coming from diverse cultural backgrounds, Bashar has spent half his life in Iraq and the other half in Sweden. This unique upbringing has provided him with a deep understanding that transcends geographical boundaries, emphasizing the interconnectedness between Eastern and Western perspectives. He believes that despite attempts to differentiate ourselves from others, we are fundamentally interconnected and harbor vast reservoirs of love and wisdom within.

For the past five years, Bashar has actively contributed to the creation of various tantra festivals and retreats across Europe. He holds a profound passion for sacred sexuality and conscious relating, focusing on how individuals relate to themselves, their bodies, and others.

In addition to his tantra work, Bashar integrates shamanic practices and tools, drawing from seven years of experience working with different plant medicines. His offerings include a wide range of services, from retreats and workshops to personalized 1:1 sessions, available both in-person and online.

Refund Policy

In case I can’t make it – what is the refund/ cancellation policy ?

  • If you cancel 3 days (72 hours) or more, before the retreat date, 50% of the amount can be refunded.
  • You can also choose to transfer your ticket to a friend.
  • There can be no refund processed in case of any last minute cancellations.
  • If the event organizer cancels the session, a full refund will be issued.
